Back in April, there were reports that the LG Wing would be getting an update that would allow it to operate under Verizon’s Ultra Wideband network. And today, Big Red has made this official!
According to Verizon’s announcement, they have already begun rolling out the update for the device that would give its users access to their UW 5G network.
If you are using this device, you can check if the update is already available. Once you have updated your LG Wing to run the latest OS, you will receive a notification that the new software is ready for installation. Make sure to install this on your device.
PhoneArena reminds users that it will take 2-3 days before your battery life returns to normal, which is pretty standard for an update of this magnitude.
Apart from the latest OS update, your LG Wing will also get the April Android security patch.
