Verizon Prepaid has quietly rolled out a new Walmart-exclusive offer. They are also running a discount on select Motorola devices. These offers were spotted by analysts at Wave7 Research.
The new offer comes as a bonus data deal, which gives new lines of service an extra 10GB of data each month under Verizon’s $50 prepaid plan. Originally, this plan comes with unlimited texts, calls, and 15GB of high-speed data. But with the bonus data offer in place, customers can enjoy 25GB of high-speed data per month.
You will need to activate a new $50 plan on a phone or SIM card purchased at Walmart. Once activated, the bonus data will be available immediately. The good thing about this offer is that the bonus data allotment will be available for life as long as you remain as an active customer on the plan. If you change your plan, you will lose the bonus data.
This offer will end on June 30, 2021.
Additionally, Verizon Prepaid is offering a discount on select Motorola devices purchased at Walmart. The discount lets you save $50 off on the Motorola E and Motorola E6. With the discount, the price of these two phones are:
Motorola E - $59 (instead of $109)
Motorola E6 - $24 (instead of $74)
You can also use this phone discount with the bonus data plan offer. You can enjoy the discount on either device until June 15, 2021. You will need to activate in-store and purchase $50 in airtime.
