Last year, Verizon Wireless managed to acquire Tracfone along with the multiple brands it owns. And as expected, the migration process has already started for some of the brands under it. Mainly, the goal is to get their customers (now) off the networks of its rivals, AT&T and T-Mobile. This way, they can start earning money instead of continuing to pay these companies for using their networks as an MVNO.
As shared by NWIDA, a Net10 user has posted a screenshot of the message he received from his provider. The message reads:
“Service Msg: We will soon interrupt an outgoing call (excluding calls to 911) to make you aware that you can move your NET10 service to our Verizon network and be provided a FREE SIM along with a FREE month of service. The terms and conditions of your service will remain the same. If you would like to accept this offer now, please call 1-866-667-6437 to speak with a representative.”
