Verizon is doing its part to give its customers a better experience against robocalls.
Earlier today, the company revealed that it is enrolling its Android customers into its automatic Call Filter robocall-blocking service. Through the service, customers can avoid receiving calls from numbers that have been reported as fraudulent. Instead of the call going through, it will be forwarded to voicemail. Any other call that is suspected to be spam or a nuisance call will also be labeled as “Potential Spam”.
While the service automatically enrolls Android customers, iOS customers who want to activate the service will have to download Verizon’s Call Filter app. The good news is that this service is available for free to all Verizon users, whether you’re an iOS or Android user.
