Verizon recently revealed the new TCL Flip Pro for its prepaid customers. This device is also available on US Cellular and T-Mobile under different names, the TCL Flip and Alcatel Go Flip 4, respectively.
Metro by T-Mobile customers will also be able to get their hands on a similar device called the Go Flip 4. It is an updated Alcatel Go Flip 3 device, which comes with a larger battery, modern USB-C connector, and new keypad shortcut buttons. The other features that are similar include its KaiOS operating system, which comes with its own app store. There are also features available like Google Assistant and Google Maps.
The flip phone also carries a 2-megapixel camera, headset jack, a 1.44-inch color outer display screen, a memory card slot, and Wi-Fi.
This particular model is currently available at US Cellular ($100), T-Mobile ($96), and Verizon ($70). Metro will also sell the phone for $100. It should come to Verizon’s postpaid lineup “in the coming weeks.”
