T-Mobile has just welcomed the addition of two budget-friendly devices to its lineup. These phones, called the Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus, are actually a successor to T-Mobile’s original Revvl smartphone model.
With the addition of these two devices, T-Mobile is able to offer more affordable smartphones for those who are looking for basic features with noticeable specs.
Battery-wise, the Revvl 2 comes with a 3,000mAh battery, while the Revvl 2 Plus has a 4,000mAh battery. The two phones both include a 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion and IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. They also include a fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock technology.
As for hardware, the two new Revvl devices come with a 18:9 display ratio. The Revvl 2 is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD screen, while the Revvl 2 Plus includes a larger 6-inch Full HD+ display panel. Both phones are powered by a MediaTek processor, with 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM for the Revvl 2 and 2.5GHz and 3GB of RAM for the Revvl 2 Plus.
To take pictures on the Revvl 2, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera. The Revvl 2 Plus on the other hand has a dual camera configuration on the back with a 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor. Both offer an 8-megapixel sensor in front. Upon release, the two phones run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Since these two phones are an exclusive T-Mobile brand, they include Magenta-colored power keys on its frame.
Along with T-Mobile’s announcement, the price and release date of the two devices were included. Both phones will be available online or a T-Mobile store starting November 16. The regular price of the Revvl 2 is $168, while the Revvl 2 Plus costs $252. For a limited time, however, the two phones will be under a promotion.
When you add a line to your purchase, you can get the Revvl 2 for free and $84 for the Revvl 2 Plus. Once the promotion ends, the regular price will be applied.
