Back in May, Metro by T-Mobile rolled out three plans that would give longtime customers the same deals that new users were entitled to. The plans, called Flex plans, were available at $50 (Flex Start), $60 (Flex Up), and $70 (Flex Plus). Today, Metro by T-Mobile has introduced a rebate program for these plans called Fast Pass.
With Fast Pass, customers get a rebate after two months of service. Unfortunately, the program is not available to Flex Start customers. As shared by The Mobile Report, Flex Plus customers are only entitled to a rebate of up to $50 while Flex Up customers can get up to $100.
The rebate program started on Thursday, August 22. It’s unclear whether the customers who signed up for the eligible plans prior to that date will already be included or not. The leaked Fast Pass document shares that “tenured” customers are entitled to the program, so it could mean that long-term customers can benefit from it.
We’ll have to wait for more updates to get the full details on this rebate program.
