HTC is back and it’s getting ready to release a new device.
Earlier today, the Taiwanese manufacturer unveiled its newest smartphone, the HTC Desire 22 Pro. This is a mid-range smartphone that comes with a 6.6-inch LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB expandable memory. There is also a massive 4,520mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The device also features IP67 water and dust resistance and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
Camera-wise, the device has a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth of field module. In front, there is a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
As an HTC device, it is compatible with its VR products and Viverse ecosystem. This gives you access to virtual content from the Metaverse. The phone also allows you to manage your digital assets like NFTs and cryptocurrencies via Viverse Wallet.
Available colors include gold and black. It is said to be priced at around $404 in Taiwan, where it will first launch. EU customers can pre-order the device today and receive it by August 1st. The report says early bird buyers will get freebies like an HTC shockproof case, wireless charger, and exclusive NFT gift.
