The latest device to get an Android OS update is none other than the LG V50 ThinQ.
Despite no longer manufacturing smartphones, LG is keeping true to its promise of releasing OS updates for its flagship devices. This week, the LG V50 ThinQ is getting the latest Android 12 OS update.
Since this device was released in 2019, this is the last Android OS update for the V50 ThinQ. But it will still be up for security updates.
If you are a Verizon customer, you can expect the update to roll out to your device soon.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy S22 devices are getting the July 2022 security patch released to them. The update comes with the S908USQU2AVF7 firmware version for carrier-locked models. As for the unlocked variants, the firmware version that will be released is S908U1UEU2AVF7.
