Update: 5/23/22 9:43am: The issue seems to have been fixed, as reported by The T-Mo Report.
If you were among those affected by the bug, you can reboot your device to apply the fix. Otherwise, you will automatically receive the fix within the next 24 hours.
It looks like the issue came about after T-Mo made a change to its systems that affected LG devices. When the update went live, the bug was able to pass through.

It looks like LG users on T-Mobile’s network are currently facing a bug.
As reported by The T-Mo Report, LG device users are seeing a persistent error message on their screen that keeps popping up no matter how many times they close it. The error reads “Unfortunately, LG IMS has stopped.”
IMS (IP Multimedia and voice Service) is described as “an industry standard protocol system.” It handles voice and data on modern digital systems, which basically allows you to make voice calls over LTE using data. With this error in place, affected users have basically nothing productive to do on their devices.
On Twitter, T-Mobile has already responded to the tweets of affected users and confirmed that the error is taking place. They have promised to get down to the bottom of the issue and that they are already working with LG to fix the problem.
A Reddit user has shared a fix for the problem but it isn’t actually the best solution. In some cases, the potential fix works right away. But for others, you will need to repeatedly tap on “Clear data” until the issue gets resolved.
Hopefully, LG gets to the bottom of this error as soon as possible.
