Kyocera has unveiled its newest smartphone, the DuraForce Pro 3. This device replaces the DuraForce Pro 2, which came out in 2018.
Staying true to its specs, the DuraForce Pro 3 is a rugged smartphone with business features. Despite this, Kyocera has updated the device to reflect modern specs like 5G compatibility, a 5.4-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage, and Wi-Fi 6E.
The device can take pictures with its 64-megapixel main sensor with a 16-megapixel output, and another 16-megapixel wide-angle camera. In front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features of the Kyocera DuraForce Pro 3 include an IP68 water-proof and shock-proof rating, 28W USB-PD 3.0 fast charging, wireless charging, and a 4,270mAh battery. It also includes PTT functionality, a fingerprint reader, NFC, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Verizon is currently selling the device for $900. It comes with support for Verizon’s mmWave 5G Ultra Wideband network. You can visit Verizon’s page for more information on device availability.
