It looks like Huawei isn’t ready to release the P50 series just yet. In today’s news, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer released a new LTE-only model of the P40. This is a flagship model that they released last year.
The new variant comes with Kirin 990 5G chipset. This is the only major thing that Huawei changed from last year’s model. This means that the Huawei P40 4G comes with a similar 6.1-inch OLED FHD+ display and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. On the back, the device has three cameras: a 50-megapixel wide sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. In front, there is a 32-megapixel camera and an IR camera.
The device also has a 3,800mAh battery and runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on top of it. The device is available in Dark Blue and Frost Silver colors. It is said to be priced at $617 but there is no word on a US availability.
