Last week, HTC unveiled the Wildfire E3 Lite as its newest device. But it turns out that the Taiwanese company has a new entry-level device to release: the Wildfire E2 Play.
The Wildfire E2 Play seems like a slightly improved version of the Wildfire E3 Lite that was revealed last week. Its specs include a 6.82-inch IPS LCD HD+ INCELL display that comes with a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Speadtrum T606 processor with 8GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and up to 256GB memory expansion via a microSD card.
For an entry-level phone, its quad-camera configuration on the back looks pretty neat. It includes a 48-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and two 2-megapixel sensors. There is also an 8-megapixel camera in front. Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, a 4,600mAh battery, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and AI face unlock. It runs on Android 12 OS upon release. Colors include Black and Blue options.
Right now, availability and pricing details have not yet been unveiled. But we expect these to be revealed once the device nears its launch. In the meantime, you can check out the device here.
