It looks like HTC is ready to make a new commitment for its avid customers. Earlier this week, the Taiwan-based manufacturer revealed its plan to release one to two new devices every year.
While this looks promising, it’s important to note that the phones that HTC plans to produce in the future will be mid-range models. As PhoneArena shares, these are devices that will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 series. This is because HTC plans to offer devices that are inline with what their customers need, highlighting the most important feature of all: communications.
It’s possible that this is a good approach that HTC is planning for its devices, especially in a market that’s overly saturated with high-end, flagship models. It’s actually a pretty smart move for them, especially since they will be competing with the likes of Apple and Samsung.
As of this writing, it’s unclear when these phones will be available. But they should start offering it in 2024.
