HTC is apparently working hard these days. And very soon, the Taiwanese manufacturer will be releasing two new devices with VR technology.
It’s expected that these devices will be revealed in the upcoming Vivecon event on May 11-12. The two devices that are said to be revealed in the event include the Vive Focus 3 Business Edition and the Vive Pro 2. The latter is said to be a high-end PC headset.
The Vivecon virtual event has been heavily teased on social media. There have been a few images that have circulated online. One of which is a photo of a black device with outward-facing tracking cameras. Beneath the device, HTC has included a caption that reads: “Ready to work in virtual reality?” While the specs of this mystery device are not yet available, it’s likely that this will be an enterprise device.
Sources have also revealed that company documents list the Focus 3 Business Edition smartphone with a $1,771 price tag. Meanwhile, the Vive Pro 2 will be cheaper than that at $1,012. We should know more about these devices real soon.
