If you’re on the lookout for a new device, Cricket recently updated its two most affordable 5G devices.
As announced by PhoneScoop, Cricket updated its Cricket Magic 2 5G and Cricket Outlast 5G. Here’s what you need to know about these two devices:
The Cricket Magic 2 5G comes as the successor of the Cricket Magic 5G. It comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. Powering it from within is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable memory.
Camera-wise, there is a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera on the rear. The device also comes with a 5,000mAh battery (a huge plus from its predecessor), NFC, fingerprint reader, and a headset jack.
This device sells for $100 but is currently offered for $40 to existing customers and free for new customers. It was manufactured for Cricket by Tinno.
Previously, the Cricket Outlast was a 4G smartphone with 6,000mAh battery. Now that this device comes with 5G connectivity, Cricket has reduced the battery to 5,000mAh.
The device comes with a 6.8-inch display and is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with 6GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage. It also comes with a 50-megapixel main camera.
The Outlast 5G is being sold for $60, while new customers can get it for free. Unlike the Magic 2 5G, the Outlast 5G was manufactured by Coosea.
