Corning (also known as Gorilla Glass) has unveiled a multi-year partnership with AT&T as the latter expands its fiber network. The partnership is valued at over $1 billion and is considered a continuation of AT&T and Corning’s collaboration.
AT&T CEO, John Stankey, said:
“We’ve built the nation’s fastest broadband network. This new multi-year agreement with Corning helps us to connect more households, communities, and businesses with the high-speed, reliable internet they need to thrive in a digital world.”
AT&T chose to partner with Corning by using the latest addition to its Evolv portfolio of connectivity solutions. This includes Evolv FlexNAP with Multifiber Pushlok Technology.
Through this partnership, AT&T will be able to boost its network expansion, thus improving its performance while minimizing deployment costs.
