Android Auto is being phased out. In its place, Google Assistant Driving Mode will be the new norm for smartphone users who want to stay connected in their vehicles. And today, Boost Mobile has revealed its new Connected Car solution as an option to stay connected while they are in their vehicles.
Boost Mobile’s Connected Car solution brings Wi-Fi onto vehicles for $20 per month. At this rate, users already have access to 5GB of 4G LTE data per month.
If you sign up for this service, you will receive a remote Alcatel LINKZONE 2 Wi-Fi hotspot device and a car charger. The device promises 24-hour connectivity, thanks to its on-board 4,400mAh battery.
The device also features 2GB ROM + 1GB RAM memory, a powerbank, and a USB-C cable. It is also said to support any car, no matter what year or model it is. When connected, the Alcatel LINKZONE 2 is capable of connecting up to 16 devices at the same time.
