Some AT&T customers experienced an outage that restricted them from accessing Microsoft’s services.
According to the complaints on DownDetector, customers could not connect to Microsoft apps and services, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook using their AT&T mobile data and fiber connections.
Users reached out to AT&T support to complain about the issue. They also left a comment on Microsoft’s subreddit. Android Authority says that the issue only affected AT&T users.
Shortly after the complaints, both AT&T and Microsoft have released a statement and an update on the outage:
“We experienced a brief disruption connecting to some Microsoft services on our network. The issue has been resolved and connections are operating normally.” - AT&T
“A third-party Internet Service Provider incident that impacted a subset of their customers’ ability to access our services is now fully resolved.” - Microsoft
If you are still having issues with your Microsoft account using AT&T’s networks, you can reach out to support for assistance. But as evident in the dip of complaints on DownDetector, it’s possible that the issue has already been resolved for everyone.
