Although AT&T is late to the party, users can’t help but express their appreciation that the wireless carrier now offers a trial program. Its rivals, T-Mobile and Verizon, have been offering a trial of their network since 2022. But now that AT&T has its own trial program, users have a way to test run the network before making the switch.
Earlier today, AT&T unveiled its Try AT&T program. Unfortunately, it’s currently only available to iOS devices. But as the announcement shares, Android support will be added next year.
If you wish to take out AT&T’s network for a spin, you simply need to use an unlocked phone with eSIM functionality. You can use a secondary line without letting go of your original number.
The good news is that this is completely free. You don’t need to input your credit card details or make any prior commitments. All you have to do is visit the Try AT&T website or download the myAT&T app. This will give you access to AT&T’s network for 30 days with a plan that comes with 100GB of data with 25GB of hotspot data.
Obviously, this network trial program is not available to existing AT&T customers. If you meet the criteria, you can get started right away.
