iPhone users may have considered themselves previously vehemently against the oversize styles popular with Android users. Those iPhone users, then, might be a little shocked when they take in the iPhone 6S Plus.

It might sound dramatic, but the future of the iPhone may very well depend on the success of the iPhone 6S Plus. As previously stated, this is a critical time for Apple, from a business and economic standpoint. Until now, Apple has done well because they have always been at the forefront of new technology and sleek design. Apple has always been, to put it simply, the trendiest kid in his class.
When the iPhone first launched, it was basically the only real competitor in the game. However, Android was a true dark horse. Even industry insiders never speculated that the Android would be a real competitor for Apple. However, the unexpected happened, and Android phones are without a doubt the true force to be reckoned with.
Hence, there is a lot riding on the iPhone 6S Plus. It has taken cues from more successful phones on the market, while still retaining the qualities that make it so distinctly Apple. The next decade is going to be a critical time for the Apple brand. As it stands now, they're not necessarily the coolest kid in their class anymore, but they're hardly the nerd in the corner, either.
There are some diehard iPhone fans that are going to upgrade to the iPhone 6S Plus without needing to be told. Others might hold off for a bit, waiting for the device to come down in price. What can absolutely be said is that this is a great phone for anyone who is interested in coming to the iPhone from an Android device. It's large enough to have the functionality of a tablet without being so big and heavy as to be cumbersome. This is a device that might be shocking to longtime iPhone users, but that will undoubtedly thrill those who dreamed of a larger model of the iPhone.
Bottom line, this is a good phone. It has great functionality, cool new features and the crystal clear resolution and beautiful playback that users expect from Apple products.
